We take emergency roof repairs in Felixstowe from twelve miles away, roughly twenty five minutes, and an IP11 call in daylight is normally attended inside a couple of hours. What arrives here is not an inland call-out. Onshore wind comes off the sea with nothing in front of it, and it does not need to be a named storm to do damage, because salt has been working on the nails, clips and verge fixings for years already. The seafront elevation is where it starts.
